Poland II

Poland has its own spirit, Poland has its own authentic face.

New country usually starts from airport, Poland trip is continuing with Krakow airport.

One world you can say about Poland, certainly it is minimalism, starting from the small Fiats, narrow seats in Poland airplane, small departure hall in Krakow airport and ending with Boichnia extremely narrow salt mine tunnels (in the past).

Taxi is not minimalistic, it is usual Mercedes Benz bus. Poland roads are being legendary all the time. Road works are everywhere in Poland. Now it is being like new country symbol. Roads are being extreme, it is something like back in Latvian roads, sometimes it is even worse.

Poland streets are authentic. There are a lot of different ads, that you will not see anywhere (at least not in such quantities). Ads are very funny, there could 5-10 different fonts per ad and bright favorite LSD background.

The one place that is not Poland authentic – hotel. It is designed for tourists, so it could be ok. The interesting fact is that our room window is located in reception hall (nice view, isn’t it).

Oh yeah. Roadworks are everywhere. especially all around Krakow. It took us 15 hours to get from Riga to Tatranska Lomnica (Slovakia) last Saturday, and 20 hours to get back this Saturday. And all because of the traffic jams caused by road works…

rapsis, so it sounds like we were near the same places for the previous week 🙂
we were going by airplane, however I would prefer to spend some time in traffic jam, because LOT local country planes are very old and interesting.

Hei, Tomasz Latvian roads are not so good as well (especially in rural areas), and you have the hope that someday your roads will be repaired.
